John Schnatter - the founder of pizza chain Papa John’s -- has stepped down as the company’s chairmAn after his use of the n-word.

????Schnatter used the word while on a conference call in May, according to Forbes.

????And his resignation has been accepted according to a statement released by the company.

????Although he had already stepped down as chief executive of the company in January after criticizing the NFL over its national anthem policy.

????Fox News says the call was apparently designed as a role-playing exercise to prevent public relations disasters in the future.

????And Schnatter complained that KFC’s Colonel Sanders never faced public backlash for using the word.

????The company says, “Papa John’s will appoint a new Chairman in a couple of weeks.”??
