“I’m a mouse, duh!”????Only I’m not talking about people expressing their wild side, like in “Mean Girls.”????I’m talking about putting their furry friends in costume.????Over 31 million people will dress their pets in costumes this Halloween, according to the National Retail Federation.????And they’ll spend an estimated $480 million to make their pets look good – or ridiculous.????But as MarketWatch points out, that’s more than double the $220 million spent on costumes when the association started tracking pet costumes in 2010.????In total, Halloween spending is expected to reach $9 billiion.????Think candy, decorations, greeting cards and costumes for humans and pets.????To no one’s surprise, millennials are most likely to dress up their pets, and it’s all about scooping up comments on social media.????So, what will they be wearing?????The top pet costume is the pumpkin, followed by the hot dog and the bumble bee.????Although, any pet costume is sure to have people buzzing online.
