Fortnite Hits 200 Million Registered Players

Fortnite Hits 200 Million Registered Players That’s five times the amount of gamers the title held back in Jan.

2018.

It’s also a 60% increase from the 125 million people who played the game in June.

Not all of those players are active, but creator Epic Games recently hit a record of 8.3 million concurrent players across all platforms. Fortnite is available not only on gaming systems, but on iOS and Android devices as well.

Many question how Epic Games will be able to maintain its user base once growth slows down.

The company alone has invested $100 million into esports tournaments for the title.
