Breweries come together to brew beer to benefit Camp Fire victims

Breweries from across the country are pitching in to help victims of the Camp Fire, and they're all making the same beer.

California-based Sierra Nevada Brewing Company reached out smaller breweries throughout the U.S., offering ingredients to brew and sell "Resilience Butte County Proud IPA." More than 1,000 breweries answered the call, with the proceeds going to victims of the fire.

For all the breweries involved, the decision to help was a no-brainer.

"I love making beer, and to turn that into something that's going to raise money for people who have lost everything, it feels pretty good," Mark Valeriani, of Cisco Brewers in Nantucket, Massachusetts said.

If you're looking to purchase some of the beer, you won't have to wait long.

Resilience Butte County will be available for purchase in mid-December.
