Alfonso Ribeiro Suing Video Game Companies Over Carlton Dance Moves

Alfonso Ribeiro is taking his fancy footwork to the courtroom reports SFgate.

Ribeiro, who played Carlton Banks on the sitcom “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” has filed lawsuits.

The lawsuits against the companies behind the video games Fortnite Battle Royale and the NBA 2K games.

Ribeiro is accusing them of lifting a dance, often referred to as the Carlton Dance, that he popularized on the series.

Both games let users buy moves to celebrate wins but the dance creators receive zero credit or money.

Many other artists have been filing lawsuits, including dancers behind the "shoo" and "floss" dance.
