
Thousands of Anti-Government Protesters March Through Belgrade for Third Consecutive Week
Tens of thousands of protesters marched through Belgrade for the third week in a row, on December 22, condemning political violence and shouting anti-government slogans The protesters also demanded that Radio Television of Serbia, a public service broadcaster, allow representatives of the protesters to express their views on air.
Demonstrations began in early December to protest an attack on the leader of the Serbian Left party, Borko Stefanovic, on November 23.
