Teen Hockey Player Returns to Ice After Surviving Deadly Bus Crash

Getting back in the ice rink was no small task for one hockey player.

Months after he was severely injured in a bus crash that killed many of his teammates, Layne Matechuk, 18, put on his skates and returned to the ice.

Layne was traveling with his team, the Humbolt Broncos, in Saskatchewan last April when their bus collided with a truck.

He survived, but 16 people were killed.

Layne was in a coma for a month.
