1/16/19 - Baseball - Twins Winter Caravan

The twins are spending the week exploring the state of minnesota and beyond with their annual winter caravan.

One leg spending this evening... ... in winona.

Area fans got to meet and talk with outfielder jake cave... first baseman tyler austin... and broadcaster dick bremer.

It has been an offseason of change following a 78-84 campaign with the team adding a few big bats and replacing manager paul molitor with 37- year-old rocco baldelli.

"i think the energy and the leadership he's going to bring to the team is going to be amazing.

To have a guy like him, that's fresh out of the game and kinda understand what's going on in today's game.

But like i said earlier, i think we're all excited to get to spring and get a change to pick his brain more and to learn from him."

"yeah it's going to be exciting to see how it shapes out, we've got some good pieces to add to an already good team, so we should win a lot of ballgames."
