Carter and Hannah Beachler have received the Toddlewood treatment.
This year photographer Tricia Messeroux created a theme of 'black excellence' to celebrate all the African Americans who won Academy Awards on February 24.
"We're going to be recreating six of the most dynamic African American artist that were on the red carpet and they all won Oscars," said Messeroux.
For seven-year-old Nia Madison, who dressed up as Black Panther set designer, Hannah Bleacher, being a part of the shoot was reward: "I am happy and proud." Young Spike Lee was portrayed by seven-year-old Hudson who liked his outfit: "I like the tie and the jacket and pretty much the rings too." However, Caiden, who embodied two-time Oscar winner Mahershala Ali, was meet with some challenges during the shoot: "When they take the pictures, the flash hurts my eyes." Toddlewood has been recreating pint-sized celebrity red carpet looks for nearly 10 years.
