Trump Denies 'Mistakenly' Calling Apple CEO Tim Cook Wrong Name

It’s pretty clear that President Trump botched Apple CEO Tim Cook’s last name… and yet he apparently insists that he didn’t.

????Axios reported that despite the audio evidence, Trump told a group of GOP donors at his Mar-a-Lago golf resort...????That he said “Tim Cook Apple” but that the Cook was really fast and that the “fake news” reported it as “Tim Apple.”????And you can likely count Cook as one of the people who heard the mistake given that he made light of slipup by changing his Twitter name to Tim with the Apple logo after it.

????To be fair, Trump did call Cook his correct name during the meeting too.

????But according to Axios, one donor said, “I just thought, why would you lie about that?” the donor said.

“It doesn’t even matter.”??
