Monday Morning Sprint

Morning sprint.

Haddie has the warmest day of the year... before rain - and possibly - snow returns later this week.

But we start with josh spreiter -- who's sharing some scary new numbers on just how un-prepared many of us are for retirement.

Good morning.

New research shows about 2 in 5 of us -- that's 40-percent -- won't have enough money for retirement if we keep up the same habits.

Today marks the beginning of national retirement planning week... so organizers say this is is the perfect time to get started.

Everyone's personal finances are different... but any little thing you can do right now... will help prevent you from going broke later.

Financial experts say you should participate in a 401-k plan a-s-a-p - while also taking advantage of easy investment opportunities like roth i-r-a's.

You should also have a separate savings account... where putting at least 10 to 15 percent of your take home pay... "before" you pay the bills.

0:00 "we had about a 4 minute response time which is critical to not let the fire keep growing."

There are no sprinklers in the building... so there is significant damage.

The restaurant was closed at the time... no one was hurt.

There's no word on when the deli will be back open.
