Extinction Rebellion Activists Blockade Waterloo Bridge With Flowers, Trees and Solar Panels
Environmental activists occupied London’s Waterloo Bridge on April 15, blockading the approach roads with trees, flowers and solar panels.
It was one of a number of protest actions that took place on Monday under the Extinction Rebellion banner in the UK and worldwide.
Some protesters were forcibly removed from the South Australian parliament’s House of Assembly Chamber.
On April 14, the former Archbishop of Canterbury, Lord Rowan Williams, took part in a sit-down demonstration and “meditation” against climate change outside St Paul’s Cathedral.
