Boeing Nears Signing Off On New 737 MAX Jet Software Update

Aviation company Boeing said on Monday it was making steady progress to certify its grounded 737 MAX jets with a software update.

According to Reuters, test pilots completed a final flight test prior to the certification flight.

CEO Dennis Muilenburg said nearly 90 percent of Boeing's 50-plus MAX operators around the globe have experienced the software update themselves during a simulator session.
