Treasury Secretary Mnuchin Says Tariffs On China Are At Least A Month Away
According to Reuters, the U.S. is at least a month away from enacting its proposed tariffs on $300 billion in Chinese imports.
U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said his department is continuing to study the impact the tariffs would have on consumers.
This month existing tariffs were hiked on $200 billion in Chinese goods to 25% from 10%.
President Donald Trump has threatened to impose tariffs of up to 25% on an additional list of Chinese imports worth about $300 billion.
