Deadly Storms Strike U.S. Southern Plains

Reuters reports a deadly storm system that blasted U.S. southern and central states has weakened, but more severe weather is on the way.

According to National Weather Service meteorologists, more than 30 tornadoes struck on Monday and Tuesday in Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Iowa, killing at least three people.

One NWS forecaster said, "The Southern Plains can’t catch a break.

“That whole area is still under the gun.
