Trump Says The US Is In Talks With Afghanistan

President Donald Trump said Afghanistan “can’t be a laboratory for terror.” The comment comes after continued discussion over the U.S. possble leaving the country after 20 years.

Trump said the U.S. is talking with Afghanistan’s government and the Taliban to see what happens.

Even so, the president said he isn’t “trusting anybody” and said Afghanistan faces a “horrible situation.” According to CNN, a peace plan in the works would withdraw thousands of troops from the country.
