These Three Democratic Senators Are Doing Their Best To Flip Trump On Gun Control

Opposition is growing against Democratic efforts towards universal background checks for guns.

According to Politico, Dems are afraid they're running out of time to influence President Donald Trump.

So Senators Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), Pat Toomey (R-Pa.) and Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) decided to take action.

The three senators spoke on the phone with Trump for 40 minutes.

They promised to stand firmly behind any agreement they could forge with him on background checks.
