Puerto Rico Presents New Plan To Revamp Power Network

Puerto Rican government officials announced a new $20.

3 billion, 10-year plan.

The plan would modernize and decentralize the island’s power network.

According to Reuters, the “GridMod plan” was developed with federal, local and private input.

They hope revamping the network would make it resilient against natural disasters.

Governor Wanda Vázquez Garced said the network would help boost the economy as well.
