Hong Kong Protestors Torch Chinese State Media Offices
Police fired tear gas at black-clad protesters across Hong Kong on Saturday.
According to Reuters, it was some of the worst violence to hit the city in weeks.
Protesters set fire to metro stations and vandalized buildings.
One of the buildings included China’s official Xinhua news agency.
Earlier, police had also used tear gas in a downtown park.
There, thousands of protesters railed at what they say has been a heavy-handed police response over five months of demonstrations.
