Sessions To Run For Senate In Alabama

Former Attorney General Jeff Sessions will run for his old Senate seat in Alabama.

According to Politico, there are several Republicans running against Democratic Sen.

Doug Jones.

Jones came into office in a special election in 2017 to fill the remainder of Sessions’ term.

Sessions only left his seat after President Donald Trump asked him to run the Justice Department.

He left that position on bad terms with Trump who called Sessions his “biggest mistake.”
