Republican Kentucky governor Matt Bevin was supported by President Donald Trump.

Although he lost against Democrat Andy Beshear in a tight race he didn’t admit defeat.

According to Reuters, Bevin is now finally conceding his loss and said he will no longer contest it.

He said: “I truly wish the attorney general well as the next governor of the state.” Beshear responded on Twitter, thanking Bevin and saying: “It’s time to get to work!”
