Warning people about a scam involving their department.

They say someone is calling people and telling them they are from the richmond police department and that they are collecting money for a missed court date.

The caller threatens to have the person arrested if they don't go to a "mobile warrant" website and make a payment.

Richmond police say they don't collect payment for any legal fees or fines... they don't have a mobile warrant website and they usually don't call before showing up to arrest someone.
