Fire season.

Leah says " california bond measure 13 will help fund three new classrooms right here at butteville elementary school.

Nat these students are in 6th grade.

And spend their day inside mr. lewis's classroom.

Superintendent len foreman says this is one of the classrooms that needs to be replaced.

Len studies have shown a proper learning environment helps kids learn.

Proposition 13 would allow the school to build three new classrooms. len they've outlived their usefulness plus they are expensive to maintain and at this point we need to provide an excellent learning environment.

If the bound passes next tuesday.

15 billion dollars from the state will go to california public schools.

It is ánotá the same as the proposition 13 that pass back in 1978.

This bond will help students from kindergarten through college.

The money from the proposition will remove mold and asbestos, and provide cleaner drinking water.

Funding will also goes towards new construction, modernization, and facilities for career technical education programs. len nobody likes taxes and i think that will be the biggest issue for this proposition in california.

People against the bond are worried about the price tag.

Some believe it will be too much money to pay back in the next 35 years.

It will not have an impact on local property taxes.

And he believes that's a great alternative.
