Coronavirus could be spreading in north alabama.
"there's currently 4 patients under investigation as we speak" this afternoon - we are waiting for the test results of those morgan county patients with coronavirus- like symptoms. and today -- decatur and morgan county officials briefed the public on how their task force will respond if there are cases of coronavirus in the area.
Waay 31's shosh bedrosian was at the conference and is live outside the decatur morgan hospital where some of those patients are waiting for their results.
On the other side of these doors, 3 of the 4 patients tested for coronavirus are waiting for their results.
There are no confirmed cases in morgan county now - but today officials here said they are trying to plan ahead.

Morgan county officials did decide to close the courthouse.
The madison county, marshall county and limestone county courthouses are currently closed because of the coronavirus.
Right now we know decatur utilities is temporarily suspending all service disconnections because of the coronavirus.
Customers are responsible for the full bill amount until the payment is made.
Everyone is encouraged make payments on time.
But everyone will still have access to clean water if they fall short.
