Also announced today close to $40 million dollars in housing grants is coming to kentucky in response to the coronavirus.
Mcconnell says the money is from the recently passed $2 trillion dollar coronavirus relief package.
The money will go to local governments to help with housing needs... including emergency shelters.... that are feeling the financial strain from the virus outbreak.
The checks haven't even been printed yet.... but the f-b-i says scammers are already eyeing your stimulus money.
Most americans will receive up to 12- hundred dollars.
But the f-b-i and several state attorney generals warn that scammers may call... text... or email you with promises to speed up the payment process or get a loan for you.
The f-b-i says the scammers will ask for your personal or financial information to get the money.
Officials say don't fall for it.
They also say you do not need to pay a fee to receive your stimulus
