Community Reacts to New CDC Recommendations:

I had a chance to speak with some folks who were out earlier and they shared their thoughts on the cdc's new recommendati ons.

It's a good idea as long as you're obviously not in large groups of people.

If you're just out and about just hanging out in the street i don't know if it's necessarily as big of a deal i'm not a health professional so it's hard to say but personally for me i have to for work.

If there's not enough people out here you really shouldn't be needing it if you know who's around you and all that.

Some people in the public don't seem to be following these recommendati ons to wear masks, however, such items aren't readily available.

For me, i have to for work, because i work in the grocery industry, when i'm out and about, but at work i have to but when i'm in public like this and not around very many people i don't think it's that big of a deal.

And while both see the advantages of wearing a mask in public, they recognize that there are others that may need masks and other equipment more than the general public.

I do wish that we could do a little bit more to make sure that it is available to the public but at the same time it's almost more important in my opinion to have it available to health professionals.

The medical field is probably one of the biggest things that need the masks because they're the ones that help us out.

So if they help us then we'll get better sooner so they need to provide them with masks more than us.

Now just as a refresher for those guidelines the cdc recommends wearing a mask out in public and that you dispose of it when you are finished, or, if it's made out of cloth you should wash it.
