Footage shows the men fleeing to take cover from the drone, which sent a real-time alert to a police team.

Police said the men were spotted on top of a building in Odhav area of Ahmedabad in western India on Friday (April 3).

“Seven have been booked for illegal gambling and for violating lockdown, and we are looking for a few more,” said an official.

Ahmedabad police commissioner Ashish Bhatia announced eight drones have been pressed into service to track down people violating the lockdown.
