Four wild boars fell into an irrigation well near Kanhiwara in the Seoni district, central India on the night of Sunday (April 5).

The next day a team of forest officials led by Arpit Mishra went to the spot and found that two of the animals had drowned while the other two were hanging on to their life.

Footage shows the forest team rescued the animals with the help of giant nets and allowed them to run back to a nearby forest.

According to local media, Mishra appealed to the local farmers to build protective walls around their wells to prevent animals from falling into them.
