Local brewery hosts fully booked Red Cross blood drive

Low budgets before the pandemic.the brewing compand out free food to anyone who signed up to donate.

Every single appointment was filled up.

And this isn't the first time they've had a fully booked blood drive in the last month.

They've had two successful drives for the american red cross since the coronavirus pandemic started.

The red cross emphasizes the need for blood donations during the pandemic.

Common block told us that the flow of blood donations is going just as needed.

"right now, the flow of people donating and the flow of blood that is needed is working out really well.

So, for now we don't have anymore planned but if they request for us to do another one in the future we will.

As of right now, we still plan on doing our pint for pint too in september."

Pint for pint is what the company normally does.

They give a pint of beer to anyone that donates a pint of blood.

But since they are not serving beer at the moment, today they opened up the kitchen and gave food to those donors instead.
