Andrew Cuomo says state agencies will be investigating nursing homes to ensure they are following state mandates and other guidelines.

The governor is sending two state entities to investigate violations.

Governor andrew cuomo, during his daily coronavirus briefing, put nursing homes on alert: albany is coming 7:44 "we're gonna undertake an investigation of nursing homes now to make sure they're following the rules.

If they cannot provide that care, then they have to transfer the patient to another facility" the governor also mentioned readmissions that might make some residents' families uneasy 6:45 "and they have to readmit covid residents, but only if they have the ability to provide the adequate level of care" stand up .
