I checked in with dignity health's food bank to see how its coping.

Food bank representatives tell me they're seeing more young people in need of food.

That's because the coronavirus pandemic has left them without work and short of money and now they are struggling to make ends meet.

They are home all the time, they dont get their lunches like they used to at school// they're stuck at home and they got to entertain the kids and when you have kids being busy, they're going to be hungry.

The organization tells me this month it gave out 15-hundred bags of food.

Compared to last month: when it gave out 12-hundred bags of food.
