Any person who knowingly, intentionally, or recklessly violates the executive order will be issued a Class B misdemeanor.

The state at 1,025 only marion and lake counties have more cases.

The cass county health department and the cass county comissioner's office have declared a public health emergency.

An executive order has also been issued by logansport mayor chris martin to limit the spread.

It limits the number of people allowed into an essential business..

And only one person per family is allowed into a business at a time..

Martin says people should be wearing masks any time they go out.

"we have so many positive cases that at this point we need to start slowing the spread to the point where you need to wear a mask because you could be asymptomatic and not even know you have it."

Martin says the executive order will remain as long as it's needed.

People violating the order could be charged with a misdemeanor.
