Noticed a change in the count on the number of cases over the weekend, but he's not ready to call it a sign of progress in the fight against the coronavirus.
"over the weekend we did did have a couple of days of numbers well below 200 new cases that is very positive but again, a couple of days is not a trend make."
The state health officer also said during the governor's news conference this afternoon he doesn't want to read anything just yet into a decreased demand for coronavirus testing.
