Man Named Tupac Shakur Was Accused of Unemployment Prank Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear accused a man of stealing late rapper Tupac Shakur's identity to file an unemployment claim.

Andy Beshear, via news conference It turns out Shakur is a cook who is unemployed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The 46-year-old also answers to his middle name, Malik.

In a later press conference, the governor admitted to his mistake, adding that he personally called Shakur.
