Staff at the university of alabama in huntsville is partnering with hewlett packard enterprise to use a supercomputer to find a treatment for the virus the supercomputer helps speed up the process as they look for natural chemicals found in plants, fungi, or animals, that can stop the virus.

The supercomputer makes it easier to find what they need.

Reduce the size of the haystack so much, that we can tell our colleagues well instead of going blindly and screening one million chemicals, you should focus on these 500, and we're fairly sure most of the needles will be in that little part of the haystack there's no timetable on how long it would take to find a treatment method.
