The INS Jalashwa will ferry 750 stranded Indians from the Maldives capital of Male to Kochi.
This is the first phase of operation Samudra Setu to evacuate stranded Indian nationals abroad via Navy ships.
Before the INS Jalashwa anchored at Male port, the staff onboard were seen preparing the living quarters to receive the expatriates.
