Several restaurants open for dine-in services in Downtown Redding

Shasta County is almost a week into phase two.

Several restaurants in Downtown Redding were open for dine-in services.

The city of redding is slowely coming back to life as the lockdown loosens into an advanced stage 2 of reopening..

When i was downtown redding earlier this afternoon.

I didn't see too many people walking around.

But i did see several dining in to grab a bite.

Take a look.

While it's not completely full.

People did come out to eat.

One person, i spoke today tells me: it's nice to have some kind of normal back.

I think it's exciting, it's nice to have a little bit or normal again, i know it definitely wont be what we know as normal but it's nice right now// we're excited to open back up, we've been closed for a couple of months and all of our employees, as well as management, is ready to get back up and open again.

# and while some restaurants did have people eating in: i checked in with a few others like "shameless o- leery's".

While it's not ready for dine-in just yet.

It hopes to be back for dine-in sometime next week.
