LaGrange County restaurant burns after re-opening following COVID-19 shutdown

Customers evacuated The Beauty and the Bull Bar and Grill after a small electrical fire stopped Saturday operations in their tracks.

Of its three year anniversary.

Fox 55's mallory beard is live at the scene of where the fire took place.

But the happiness didn't last long.

From the beginning it's like we're starting all over again... and i don't know...rebuilding..we just closed down for all of this and remodeled and repainted the roof and remodeled our family room and that's completely torn up now so..."

The building caught fire saturday with customers inside.

The staff evacuated customers and called topeka fire zachary becker//beauty and the bull manager "our head cook, he walked outside and saw smoke coming from the roof so we called 911 at that point and they luckily got there pretty quickly but it was a mess and just hard to see."

Becker and whitney say the cause was electrical.

And now as the restaurant closes on its three year anniversary they must rebuild again the two have been friends since childhood.

We're coming up on three years next weekend .

And i have a ten month old, and i consider that my second baby...this is just what we work for everyday and we work our butts off.

We want it to show that we don't care about the money, we care about having happy customers providing fresh quality food.
