Sierra... what new services and businesses can reopen under the new alabama amended state health order?

Based on the new health order, students could head through the doors here at hampton cove elementary as early as june 1st but that doesn't mean they will.

Here's a look at what the changes to the order -entertainment venues like arcades and theaters can reopen at 50 percent occupancy -summer camps and day care facilities can operate starting saturday at 5pm.

-all schools, colleges and universities will also be allowed to reopen starting june 1st.

-athletic activities will also be allowed but games can't be played until june 15.

Morgan county schools superintendent bill hopkins says there's still a lot of decisions that school districts will need to make.

We're still under the guidance of the athletic department and our state superintendent and until we get full guidance from them we're going to kind of hold until we see that information.

Hopkins plans to meet with coaches and athletic directors today to go over the new guidelines remember, these dates are when places are allowed to reopen but that doesn't mean they will choose to reopen.
