More than 300 coronavirus deaths occurred in LTCF in Mississippi

More than 300 people have died in long-term care facilities in Mississippi.

Residents of the facilities are at a higher risk of experiencing serious complications with the coronavirus.

Two weeks ago the white pushed for governors to test everyone in nursing homes within 15 days.

It's because that population is vulnerable to the coronavirus and the latest report showed half of mississippi's coronavirus deaths are connected to long term care facilities.

As of monday 322 residents at long term care facilities died from coronavirus out of the 635 deaths reported in the state.

And the highest number of deaths in our viewing area at long term care facilities 21 of residents at long term care facilities died in monroe county and 12 residents died at long term care facilities in attala county.

That
