>> it's great to have our doors back open.

And we have been working hard on new exhibits, so we're excited to have the guests back into the galleries.

>> and in fact, you're standing in front of one of the exhibits, and can you tell us about this?

>> this comes from the arts collection, and the collaboration in south carolina so, the charleston renaissance norther 1920s, there are great artists that emerged including liz getting and so we have paired with the society in charleston for the itches in the archive collection.

So they interpret it in their own style.

So it's really fun, and great for charleston and local artists, and it's brand-new and we want people to see it.

>> the history of the low country, we look at all of these images and how long it did take to set it?

>> it has been in the works for a while now, and each of them worked on these original works of art for a couple of months, and then we had them framed locally and hung up for the past two weeks, and it's wonderful.

>>> this is a unique and vibrant city, and what are the other things that people can see?

>> we have nine exhibits, and we have stuff from the civil war gallery and transportation, and we have a pharmacy that shows how history has evolved in the low country, from textiles to war history, we have a great knowledge here.

>> i love the clothes, those tell so much when you see the way that people used to dress.

Have a you changed your hours at all?

Is it business as usual?

And what are the health protocols for people coming to see the museum?

>> start and summed, and the museum has been open since may 27th.

And june 1st and 15th.

So we have limited guests, and new signage all around the building, all of our front liners are wearing masks and anywhere that we have contacts public and a lot of our hands on components have been shut down for safety purposes but otherwise, we're trying to get back to as normal as possible.

>> and visitors, are they required to wear masks or any kind of protection.

>> they're not required but we encourage t.

And all of the staff are required to wear masks.

>> and a lot of the kids have been homeschooled for the last several weeks, and do you have anything for them to come to the museum.

>> we have some great camps starting up and we're working on bring back some of our kid's programming, so outdoors, trying to help parents feel a little bit more at ease for kids at camp.

But otherwise, we have our wonderful childing and youth tickets.

>> that's perfect, and you did a fantastic job with all of the virtual programs in the quarantine, i want to thank you so much for joining us and thank you for taking that tour.
