CVA's Sommer commits to play basketball at Sage College

Sommer played three years on varsity for the Thunder.

Savannah sommer from central valley academy is headed to sage college in the fall to afor thea division three level.

An honor student - on the court sommer scored 900 career points for the thunder over three years on varsity and was named a tri-valley league first team all-star.

She was also an all-mohawk valley all-star.

She received the coaches award for her team two years in a row and was the m-v-p of the little falls tournament twice as well.

Sommer has also played a-a-u ball for the utica lady knicks for the past five years.

The gators are in the empire eight conference - so she will be spending plenty of time back here in the area taking on utica college over the next few years.

She also played three years on the varsity softball team at c-v-a.
