### carol barr died unexpectely last week... a death that left congressman andy barr and their two young girls.

While the congressman asked for media to only attend virtually...you could still feel the raw emotions as her best friends talked about her.

Carol barr died at the couple's lexington home from natural causes related to a heart condition, according to the preliminary autopsy report from the fayette county coroner.

She was only 39- years old.

Carol barr's life long friends nancy bowman and ty mcbrayer spoke this morning.

Of course, an emotional moment as the two women held onto to each other talking about carol...and her role in her daughter's lives.

"we asked elanor and mary clay what words they would use to describe their momma.

Elanor imediately lit up and without question her word was kind.

And mary clay without hestitation enthusiastically said happy.

Those are the exact words we would use to describe sweet carol and the same traits i remember when i met that little girl in 1989."

Congressman andy barr also spoke about his wife saying she made him a better person and was generous with everyone.

Barr grew up in georgetown and was a university of kentucky graduate.

She worked for pfizer in sales and served as an executive director of the henry clay center for statesmanship.
