About 500 protesters occupied a large area just outside New York City Hall for the second night in the row on Wednesday.
(June 24) Protesters are saying they will stay at least until the NYPD is defunded by $1 billion.
The budget hearing is on June 30th and they hope that this movement can and will sustain until then.
