YMCA Childcare Services Employee Tests Positive for COVID-19

A staff member in the YMCA's Childcare Services branch has tested positive for COVID-19 after exposure offsite.

On monday..

A staff member at the ymca of southwestern indiana tested positive for covid-19..

But was exposed to the virus off site.

That employee worked for the child care center..

And is now quarantining and receiving treatment for their condition.

Upon learning of this situation..

The y-m-c-a immediately responded with their coronavirus protocol..

By shutting down that specific site for two days to deep clean and disinfect.

The organization also notified all staff members and families that may have been in contact with the infected employee.

Since the "y" has reopened..

They have put numerous health and safety measures in affect to protect everyone who enters their doors.

They plan on continuing those practices as everyone's health is their top priority.
