Seattle police precinct reinforced with barricades after ‘CHOP’ autonomous zone dismantled

Barricades were seen being set up outside the East Precinct after Seattle authorities dismantled the Capitol Hill Occupied Protest.

Footage from July 1 shows city workers installing concrete barriers with metal fences around the perimeter of the police station.

Squad cars are seen as police personnel populate 12th Avenue.

The filmer explained: "Vehicles can be seen lining up along 12th Avenue outside the precinct making their return to the station where they will later be filed back down into the parking garage below the precinct.

"Officers stroll around the closed-off block being back in their precinct for the first time in several weeks."
