Mudslide sweeps down guardrails and engulfs Chinese highway

A mudslide swept down guardrails and engulfed a highway in southern China.

The video, shot in the city of Chongqing on July 1, shows mud flowing down a mountain, washing away the guardrails and submerging a road on the Third Ring Expressway.

The mudslide was caused by rainfall from the night before.

No casualties were reported.
