Petroviak.

Thanks for joining us.

Two toms brewing company is joining 900 plus breweries all over the country to bring awareness about the injustices people of color face daily.

They're doing that by putting their own spin on a beer and raising money.

Fox 55's jentill neal tells us about why the owner decided to join the initiative.

Jentill?

Hunter, this beer is called black is beautiful.it's a bit of a play on a salted caramel dark chocolate brownie.

But it was created for a deeper purpose than the flavor.

Take a look.

"it's very delicious.

I'm a stout girl.

I't excellent.

It's fabulous."larry norwood and jody lepley are just two of the people trying two toms brewing company's black is beautiful beer.

As much as it is tasty- the purpose is to bring injustice awareness through a national collaboration.> 17:26:23-17:26:44"more so than about the beer, it's about bringing awareness to everything going on.

The brewery is raising funds.

Every brewery is raising funds to go directly into their community.

We're raising those funds for fort wayne united."

Fort wayne united's mission is enhancing opportunities, advancing youth advocacy and helping create a safer city for all, but more specifically for black men and boys.

17:30:09-17:30:25"what's happening today is really monumental that we have a business owner who made a decision to really get involved in this fight and stay in his lane and really just support a lot of what we're doing and getting involved in our efforts our organization, and really get involved in this fight that we have in front of us."chris austin and brad kellems think it's a great idea and hope more businesses follow suit.

17:36:48-17:37:14"it may seem small but if you really take a look at it, it's going to be a big thing.

Brad: the ability for our businesses to partner with the community and find solutions and ways to bring us together, and the simple thing of beer.

People love beer.

If that can help us solve differences and help the community heal, grow, and get better, i think that's going to be amazing."

The beer made it's debut this evening but they will be serving it until next week when the batch runs out.
