That letter would demand the county be allowed to exercise more control --if it is placed on the governors watchlist..

It asks the governor to allow a county public health officer to make a decision on restrictions.

The board of supervisors will discuss sending the letter at it's next board meeting.

More than 20 people are injured after a fire onboard a naval ship docked in san diego.

About 160 sailors and officers were onboard as of last night, there are 15 people&13 sailors and two federal fire firefighters& admitted to local hospitals.

All are currently in stable condition san diego's fire chief says the fire could continue for days.
