Several neighbors called 9-1-1 last night reporting the suspect running through their neigborhood armed with a gun.

What do you know about the man arrested?

Police were called to this area around seven last night.

Neighbors say they heard shots and saw a man running through the streets armed with a handgun.

This happened at west 12th and lawrence in the west eugene neighborhood.

Witnesses gave police the man description.

Police identified him as 39-year-old chet reeves.

According to officers, reeves had the gun in his waistband and was not cooperating for police at first.

Officers also found multiple spent shell casings.

Reeves was eventually taken into custody and now faces several charges, including unlawful use of a weapon and reckless endangering.

He being held at the lane county jail.

This is the second report of shots fired in 24 hours.
